### Main duties of the job

Medication & Prescription Management

- Process and check prescription requests accurately and promptly.
- Handle medication-related queries from patients, clinicians, and pharmacies.
- Manage prescription workflow and ensure timely delivery of medications.

Medication Safety & Monitoring

- Support safe and timely monitoring of medications, including blood tests and drug levels.
- Identify patients due for medication reviews and book appointments with appropriate clinicians.
- Assist in managing stock levels of emergency drugs and clinical supplies.

Administrative & Clinical Support

- Process clinical letters and prescription-related documentation.
- Assist with audits, medicines optimisation, and health promotion initiatives.
- Contribute to reducing medication wastage and improving cost-effective prescribing.

Collaboration & Communication

- Work closely with pharmacists, GPs, and the MDT to ensure seamless medication management.
- Maintain accurate records and follow practice procedures.
