We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Pharmacy Technician capable of working as part of a multidisciplinary department to work in our highly regarded Pharmacy cancer services team.

Both sites at UHNM have a pharmacy cancer unit where systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) and supportive medicines are dispensed to patients. The County Cancer Unit is an out-patient day unit consisting of 16 chairs and 4 beds. The Pharmacy Cancer team is patient focussed, collaborative and supportive and have an excellent working relationship with other key professionals to maximise efficiency of the services provided.

The pharmacy directorate has modern, purpose-built pharmacy departments on both hospital sites and has close links with Keele University School of Pharmacy.

You will work alongside Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, MMAs, SATOs and a variety of ward staff in providing the pharmacy services for a wide range of SACT and supportive medicines used to treat cancers.
