The role will entail the receipt, storage, and issues of pharmaceutical products, including the maintenance of records. To use the current Inventory management systems including Pharmacy automation to provide the Pharmacy distribution service. Experience in pharmacy work would be desirable but is not essential. You are expected to be keen to learn, hardworking and able to work under pressure and undertake manual handling of goods. We encourage you to embrace these values throughout the recruitment process and in your role with us. ### Main duties of the job Main duties will include the use of current Inventory management systems including Pharmacy automation to provide the Pharmacy distribution service. You will be monitoring the expiry dates of stock held in the Pharmacy as per the timetable. To assist with the receipt of goods at Pharmacy Stores door or collect at Hospital rear entrance, signing and dating the receipt. To unpack goods checking quantity and quality against order and delivery note as per procedures.
