### Job summary

37.5 Hours per week - 9 month Secondment

Would you like to learn more about digital pharmacy?This nine month secondment offers the opportunity to join the EPMA team and gain practical experience supporting the electronic prescribing and medicines administration system. Youll work with pharmacy colleagues and the wider digital team, learning how digital systems support safe and effective medicines use across the Trust.The work may include helping users with system queries, supporting testing and improvements, contributing to training and guidance, and taking part in project work. Youll have the chance to bring your experience and ideas to the team and get involved in innovation that improves how staff use digital medicines systems.The secondment will also offer insight into the Trusts current digital medicines environment as it prepares for its upcoming EPR programme. This experience may help you understand how current systems and processes inform digital transformation.The secondment is suited to someone who is curious about digital health, enjoys solving problems and working with others, and is keen to learn and contribute.

## Person Specification

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- To undertake Continuing Professional Development Assess stock returned from the wards including hazardous substances
- Specialist medical knowledge acquired through training and experience
- Advanced computer keyboard/labelling skills requiring accurate data input working within narrow margins of error

**Desirable**

- Knowledge of Trust/departmental policies and procedures

### Experience

**Essential**

- Able to tolerate interruptions and deal with stress, complaints and conflict
- Extensive experience in hospital pharmacy

### Registration

**Essential**

- GPhC (technician) registration

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent
- Evidence of CPD

**Desirable**

- Accredited checking technician/CD competent
- Educated to diploma level in an IT related subject or equivalent experience
