We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join us as a Pharmacy Senior Assistant Technical Officer - Clinical Services.

### Main duties of the job

To assist and support in the provision of a safe and efficient Ward-based Pharmacy Service in accordance with Trust and local guidelines, policies and procedures.

To include:

The management of medicines at Ward level, including Ward stock, Inpatient named supplies, waste and recycling.

Labelling, dispensing and supplying medicines at Ward level.

Proactively managing the pharmacy discharge process liaising with the Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) and pharmacy teams.

Supporting the MDT with Bar Code Medicines Administration (BCMA) workflows at Ward level.

Due to Home Office immigration rules, a full time permanent vacancy cannot be filled by individuals on a Student visa. Therefore, please be advised that if you are a Student visa holder, we will not be able to offer you a full time permanent contract unless you have: -    applied for a Graduate visa -    or you will have successfully completed your course and have applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date of your employment -    or the Trust has agreed that they will Sponsor you as a Skilled Worker and you will complete your studies within 3 months of the anticipated start date of employment

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Educated to GCSE grade 4-9 or equivalent including Mathematics, English and Science
- Willing to undertake and complete (within 6 months of commencing) mandatory NVQ II units required for the pos
- Willing to undertake and complete (within 3 months of commencing) relevant modules in the CUH Accreditation for Medicines Management

**Desirable**

- NVQ II Pharmaceutical Service
- IT certificates or qualification
- Dispensing/OTC/Medicine sales qualification
