### Homecare

### PHARMACY DEPARTMENT, ABERDEEN ROYAL INFIRMARY

### MONDAY – FRIDAY

### 36 hours per week

- The Support Services within the pharmacy department currently require a clerical officer for Homecare Services. The post holder will be responsible for assisting in the provision of purchasing and contracting services, delivering agreed work plans and carrying out the routine operations and administration of the homecare service.
- Undertakes duties in the support of the Homecare Service of medicines for patients throughout NHS Grampian.
- To process invoices relating to the procurement of pharmaceutical products for onward transfer to the Finance Department for payment.
- Input of data relating to the supply of pharmaceutical products.
- We encourage applicants who are able to demonstrate previous office experience within a similar arena, knowledge of medicines required and although NHS experience is desirable this is not essential. Applicants will possess excellent organisational and time management skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent IT skills. The successful applicant, will be self-motivated, have the ability to work within a team, on their own initiative and with minimal supervision.
