About the Role As part of the Pharmacy Dispensary and Distribution Team, you will: - Support the delivery of a high-quality, patient-focused pharmacy service. - Assist with robotic dispensing of medicines. - Provide stock management services for wards and clinics. - Support the work of the pharmacy stores department. - Contribute to the efficient supply and distribution of medicines across the Trust. - Help ensure safe and effective patient care through pharmacy operations. Successful candidates will join a supportive and diverse team dedicated to providing outstanding patient care, innovation, and excellence across the Trust's hospital sites. ### Main duties of the job - To assist in the provision of a high quality, patient focused dispensing service to patients of the Trust and associated hospitals. - To assist in the provision of a high quality ‘topping up’ and ‘self-ordering’ distribution service of pharmaceutical supplies to wards, clinics and associated areas. - To assist in the provision of a high quality stores service to the dispensary, wards, clinics and associated areas. - To ensure that stock levels for ‘topped up’ areas are appropriate and that the stock is in date and adequately rotated. - In association with the senior technician, ward/department manager and specialist pharmacists to ensure that stock lists are updated and adequately reflect the needs of the area. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities The full job description provides an overview of the key tasks and responsibilities of the role and the person specification outlines the qualifications, skills, experience and knowledge required.
