### Job overview

To provide specialist information performance support to the Pharmacy Department and work as part of the Information Team. The post holder will be a lead information specialist in designated functions/project areas and will be required to provide specialist advice and support in these areas. The post holder will be required to implement policies and propose changes to practices and procedures for designated functions/project areas.

### Main duties of the job

This role will play a key part in the production of routine monitoring reports, ensuring all data queries relayed back from the Pharmacy Department and other areas are completed within agreed timescales to minimise the risk of inaccurate reporting or lost income to the Trust.

### Skills

**Essential**

- Performance reporting, data analysis and interpretation, and report generation
- Intermediate/advanced database query skills using MS Access functions and/or SQL
- Intermediate/advanced use of Access and Excel

**Desirable**

- Knowledge and understanding of Pharmacy practices and procedures

### Personal

**Essential**

- Proven team worker with the ability to work well with a variety of people on all levels
- Flexible and committed
- Reliable and honest

### Experience

**Essential**

- Proven experience in a data or information analysis role
- Demonstrable experience of database management, analysis, maintenance and development

**Desirable**

- Working within an NHS information/ data analysis or admin role
