To provide a comprehensive secretarial/administrative service to the Director (s) and Deputy Directors.

### Main duties of the job

- To provide an administrative support service to the Director (s) or Operational Business Units, resolving day-to-day problems independently,.
- To professionally support the development of less experienced staff.
- To act as a key contact point for Executive Director or operational services, providing information and advice as appropriate.
- To play a key role in supporting key Trust priorities, including robust management of CIP documentation and audit processes.
- To support the implementation of agreed projects/developments.

## Person Specification

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- RSA III or equivalent advanced keyboard skills
- A good understanding of relevant policy, legislation drivers and their application to the relevant service area

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience of taking minutes at meetings
- Proven experience of building effective working relationships

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Higher National Certificate/Foundation degree/ diploma/NVQ4 in Business Administration/Customer Services or equivalent experience in a wide range of secretarial/administrative/PA role and leading specific projects/information systems
- Experience of using a range of Microsoft software packages

**Desirable**

- Equivalent experience in a wide range of secretarial/administrative/PA roles.
- Sound experience of IT systems

### Skills and Competencies

**Essential**

- Able to plan and prioritise own time and meet tight deadlines

- Ability to effectively commute between the Trust various sites
