Taking on leadership duties when the General Manager is absent, you will help with care standards, motivate your team, and inspire a multidisciplinary team to ensure residents enjoy the best possible quality of life. This involves leading by example, monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and checking regulatory compliance. You'll develop and deliver strategies to achieve goals while helping residents with different health needs. A Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification is required, along with previous experience in a nursing home setting, managing safeguarding investigations, and clinical risk assessments. HR experience, knowledge of sales and marketing, budget management, and supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship are also essential.
