This interesting and varied role supports the Trust to report, monitor and meet performance targets and implement our operational plans. This is vital in maintaining the delivery of high quality, productive services to our patients and in continuing to be a great place to work.

This is a small team with a wide remit and the ideal applicant will be organised, flexible, highly self-sufficient, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and use their own initiative. Key attributes include the ability to:

- Confidently use and support the development of digital resources, including online dashboards, in collaboration with the Business Intelligence Team.
- Develop, maintain and continually improve systems and processes for managing performance and monitoring the delivery of operational plans.
- Schedule a range of performance meetings and record and monitor progress against actions.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with a wide variety of people at all levels across the organisation.

## Person Specification

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience of administering and coordinating an area of work and the maintenance and development of associated data management and reporting systems
- Experience of planning, organising, and recording high-level multi-disciplinary meetings and events, where complex and sensitive information items are shared and discussed
- Ability to work independently, with limited supervision, taking responsibility for delivering quality work within set timescales
- Development and delivery of training and/or support to colleagues (including those at levels such as Divisional Director) around internal systems and processes
- Experience of communicating effectively with senior staff and internal/external stakeholders

**Desirable**

- Experience of performance management and business intelligence
- Experience of analysing data sets and producing short reports summarising the findings

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Basic qualification / course in Microsoft Office products or equivalent experience
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience

### Knowledge & Expertise

**Essential**

- Broad range of IT skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, E-Mail, Internet, MS Teams and other information systems such as online dashboards
- Understanding of the importance and requirements of data protection and confidentiality
- Knowledge of Regulatory and Contractual performance requirements
- Knowledge of Cancer Waiting Times Standards

**Desirable**

- Knowledge of relationships between providers and the Integrated Care System
- Knowledge of performance management principles
