The post holder will lead the Trust’s response to the most serious and complex patient safety events, providing expert investigation and review, and supporting patients, families and colleagues throughout the process. The post holder will coordinate thematic reviews and ensure learning from patient safety events is translated into sustainable improvement across the organisation. The post holder will also provide oversight and quality assurance of investigation documentation and reports, and will provide support to more complex After Action Reviews (AARs) which are led by the Clinical Directorates.
