As  Patient Pathway Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of patient pathways, contributing to the delivery of outstanding care within our esteemed Trauma &  Orthopaedic department. You will become part of a dedicated and highly skilled team committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Quality Customer Service
- Some experience providing required NHS knowledge and qualification equivalences if necessary

**Desirable**

- Experience of supervising staff

- On the job training

- Supervisory training
- Experience of managing health & safety issues

### Knowledge Requirements

**Essential**

- Computer literate, with experience of using a keyboard with a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of NHS or service provider in general
- Thorough knowledge of healthcare administrative systems and processes
- Knowledge of databases, spreadsheets i.e. PAS, Excel or similar applications
- Experience of using a full range of IT/Patient data systems
- Confidentiality and Data Protection
- Health and Safety

- Sound office clerical background providing knowledge of relevant procedures

### Contractual Requirements

- Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary
- To work across both Kings Mill Hospital and Newark Hospital sites

### Qualifications/Academic/Craft/Professional

**Essential**

- Good general education with GCSE English at grade C or above
- RSA II (or equivalent)

**Desirable**

- ECDL
- Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Administrator & Receptionist diploma (AMSPAR)
- NVQ in Customer Care
- Institute of Health Records & Information Management Diploma (IHRIM)
- Shorthand speeds of 80wpm
