### Job overview

We are recruiting one Band 4 Patient Pathway Coordinator to join our Patient Administration Team. This role is ideal for individuals with strong RTT experience who are committed to delivering high‑quality patient pathway management.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of RTT (Referral to Treatment) pathways through meticulous validation of patient journeys and strict adherence to national RTT rules. This role requires confident understanding of how RTT clocks start, stop, and pause, alongside the ability to identify and correct data quality issues that impact performance reporting. You will also support the smooth flow of patients by booking and amending appointments in line with clinical urgency, pathway requirements, and Trust access policies. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams are essential to maintaining compliant, patient‑centred pathways.

Working closely with clinical and administrative teams, the postholders will ensure that patient bookings, clinic management tasks, and eRS worklists are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with Trust standards.

### Main duties of the job

Key duites include:

- Monitor and review patient care and/or treatment progress using the Patient Tracking List.
- Identify from the Tracking List the next steps in the patient care pathway in line with clinical need (peer review).
- Receive patient referrals and administer in line with timings and requirements as set out in Trust and National policies
- Provide day-to-day supervision and oversight of duties for the department’s administrators.
- Providing support for day-to-day queries from administrators.
- Responsible for collecting and updating patient information on the relevant databases in line with local policy,
