A permanent vacancy has arisen for a Clinical nurse specialist to support our patients living with Parkinson's Disease for 28 hours per week. The successful candidate will preferably have at least one years' experience at band 6, or equivalent, leadership experience and experience in caring for patients with Parkinson's Disease with insight and knowledge of the condition. Full support, including a structured induction period will be given to help the post holder to meet the requirements of the role. Although predominantly based at FGH, there will be the requirement to travel cross bay. ### Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be supporting patients with Parkinson's Disease diagnosis. Delivering care in the clinic setting, on the acute wards and in the patient's own homes when required to do so. In conjunction with the lead clinician, medical team and divisional senior nurse, develop and implement comprehensive packages of information, education and support for patients and their carers/relatives, this will include  running a nurse led clinic for patients with Parkinson's Disease.
