## Job Content

### Job overview

Are you passionate about improving pre-hospital mental health care? We are looking for an experienced paramedic to join our award winning team as a paramedic on our Mental Health Joint Response Cars (MHJRC’s).

This job advert is open to all band 6 paramedics AND NQP 2's who will transition to band 6 no later than November 2026. Staff must be band 6 to undertake the secondment but NQP's can be started upon transitioning to band 6. If you are NQP2, please include your expected transition to band 6 date in your application. (NQP2 Applicants cannot be held in reserve long term and so cannot be held in reserve if their Band 6 Transition date is delayed due to their sign-off not being completed).

By joining our team you will be working alongside a mental health clinician and respond to patients in a mental health condition. It is an excellent opportunity to enhance your pre-hospital mental health care knowledge and help to ensure our patients receive the right care in the right place first time.
