The post holder will be an expert in their speciality, performing highly advanced clinical assessment, management and treatment of patients with persistent pain with diverse presentations and complex physical conditions. They will be a source of expertise in this area for other practitioners to draw upon providing education and training for staff and patients. ### Main duties of the job They will work with the consultant led Pain Management Team, Integrated Care Boards (ICB’s) and local trusts to understand services provided, the transformation agenda and additional workforce training needs. They will then need to progress the transformation, with a view to identifying and implementing improvements to education and training across the workforce They will undertake a leading role in planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the service provided to patients with persistent pain on a day-to-day basis, and work closely with and support other physiotherapy teams working with persistent pain conditions throughout the Trust and across BSW ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities This job description is not intended to be exhaustive and it is likely that duties may be altered from time to time in the light of changing circumstances, in discussion with the post holder.
