This is an exciting opportunity to work with children aged 0-4 years and their families, delivering early intervention and supporting speech, language and communication development at a crucial stage in children's lives. You will become part of a supportive and experienced team, working collaboratively with families, health visitors, childcare settings and wider multi-agency partners to make a real difference to children's outcomes. Whether you are a newly qualified therapist or have some post-registration experience, we can offer excellent support, supervision and development opportunities. ### Main duties of the job - Assess and support children with speech, language and communication needs within Flying Start areas. - Deliver evidence-based interventions in homes, clinics, childcare settings and community venues. - Empower parents and carers through coaching, advice and practical strategies to support communication development. - Contribute to universal, targeted and specialist approaches to speech and language development. - Work closely with health visitors, early years practitioners and other professionals. - Support early years practitioners to develop communication-rich environments in early years settings. - Participate in group programmes, training and preventative initiatives. - Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development. - Monitor and evaluate outcomes of intervention and adapt plans as required. - Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings and continuing professional development activities. - Adhere to HCPC, RCSLT and organisational policies, procedures and professional standards. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities You will be able to find a full job description and person specification attached within the supporting documents.
