### Job overview

Come and join our children's therapy team in East Sussex. This is an opportunity to work as part of an integrated therapy team, supporting the needs of children and young people aged 0-19. The East Sussex Children's Integrated Therapy and Equipment Service (ESCITES) is provided by Kent Community Health Foundation Trust. We are recruiting Physiotherapists to posts across the County working in our clinic bases, schools, nurseries and families' homes.

### Main duties of the job

As well as providing assessment and clinical interventions, you will be involved in supporting our universal training offer and working closely with schools and partner agencies. This post covers the East Sussex area including Eastbourne, Crowborough, The Havens, Hastings, Rother, Bexhill and St Leonards areas. It will involve both clinic and community work, including working in our local mainstream and special schools. The service is managed by a Clinical Manager and Team Co-ordinators and has therapy skill mix from Band 7 to Band 4. The team includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Therapy Assistants. We have three hubs which are located at Grove Clinic in Crowborough, Chaucer Clinic in Polegate and Station Plaza in Hastings which provide calm working environments with friendly, enthusiastic colleagues who are committed to providing excellent care. As a Band 5 Physiotherapist you will have opportunities to develop both clinical and early leadership skills. We offer the Trust’s Preceptorship programme for new Band 5s, a full induction into the our service to learn how we work together, Safeguarding supervision, regular meetings with your line manager and clinical supervisor, and have both internal and external training opportunities.
