Southampton Children’s Hospital is a leading centre for specialist paediatric endocrine services across the South of England. We provide expert acute care to our local population, as well as to a wider region including Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Dorset, Frimley, and the Channel Islands. Our service also offers a range of highly specialised clinics, including disorders of sex development (DSD), bone disorders, genetics, late effects, and tertiary obesity services. Our team currently comprises four consultants, 2.6 WTE specialist nurses, and a cohort of junior doctors in both general and specialty training. We work closely with a variety of specialty services to deliver high-quality care across inpatient, outpatient, and day-case settings.
