Paediatric Complex Care Assistant Location: Sidle, Halifax Pay: Weekday nights £16.02, Saturday & Sunday £16.78 Shifts:10pm-8am waking night shifts, 7 nights per week. Join Our Team at Libertatem Healthcare Group. Were looking for compassionate and skilled Paediatric Care Assistants to join our new client in Halifax, supporting with a range of complex health needs. Our client is a 5-month old baby boy who will be being discharged from the hospital with a community team to support his parents during the night on waking night shifts. There may be additional day shifts available in the near-future. He is trache-vented 24/7 and tube fed and may occasionally require oxygen. He enjoys age appropriate play and we are keen to recruit support workers with a strong paediatric background. Experience with young babies/neonatal or tracheostomy and PEG with young children would be highly advantageous. What Youll Be Doing: Providing personal care Supporting with clinical tasks including tracheostomy ventilations, PEG feeding and oxygen when required. The Paediatric Complex Care Assistant role in Halifax involves providing specialized care for a 5-month old boy with complex health needs. Your main responsibility will be to support the family during the night with waking night shifts from 10pm-8am. Key tasks include providing personal care, supporting clinical tasks such as tracheostomy ventilations, PEG feeding, and administering oxygen if required.
