Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist

Albrighton, West Midlands

Up to £43,000 plus bonus

Full time, Monday to Friday with no nights, weekends or on-call responsibilities

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist to support children with complex care needs across the West Midlands. This role offers a strong work life balance with office and community-based work.

Skills needed:

- Airway management including tracheostomy care
- Ventilation management
- Enteral feeding (PEG/JEJ/NG)
- Experience with neurological or spinal conditions is beneficial.

Requirements:

- NMC Pin with at least 2 years post qualification nursing experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong clinical judgement
- Flexibility to support regional packages

- Manage complex caseloads including paediatric packages
- Develop and review care plans
- Train and assess care staff
- Ensure clinical quality and compliance

### Job responsibilities

- To promote the Apollo Home Healthcare brand to all prospective clients and healthcareprofessionals, undertake assessment of new referrals and reviews of current service user careplans as well as assist in the recruitment and interviewing of potential new staff.
- There will be arequirement to manage appraisal and supervision of staff.
- Provide person centred nursing care and support to service users, their families and healthcareassistants.
