Main duties of the job

  • Within their clinical setting, provide support to the team manager in delivering the current NHS Strategic Plan, the Trust’s strategic goals, and the implementation of the Stockport Accreditation and Recognition Scheme, including effective leadership, setting, monitoring, and maintaining optimal care standard
  • Be visible and accessible in the clinical area for patients, relatives, and staf
  • Lead by example by adhering to and implementing all policies and standard operating procedures, acting as a role model, taking responsibility for own professional development, and supporting a named tea
  • Provide leadership that promotes patient centred care
  • Assist in maintaining an environment conducive to education, teaching, audit, and training, maintaining an ethos of evidenced based practic
  • Provide clinical leadership and management of staff ensuring the delivery of the highest professional standards through staff development and individual performance appraisal/revie
  • Uphold standards of care and expected behaviours in accordance with the Trusts Valu
  • Assist the Senior Team in supporting and contributing to agreed developments within the Business Group
  • Identify equipment priorities to support the care of patients and staff in their physical environment, undertaking risk assessments as required/directe
  • Ensure the efficient use of resources, monitoring quality and expenditur

  • Be visible and accessible in the clinical area for patients, relatives, and staf

If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £54.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
