### Main duties of the job

The post holder will coordinate all aspects of orthopaedic loan kit management, including planning equipment requirements for surgical procedures, liaising with consultants, theatre teams, suppliers and sterile services, and ensuring kits are available when required. Responsibilities will include raising requisitions and purchase orders, maintaining accurate records, resolving queries, monitoring expenditure and ensuring compliance with agreed processes, financial procedures and traceability requirements.

- Knowledge of Orthopaedic surgical procedures, acquired through training

### Qualifications

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent knowledge
- Understanding of basic professional purchasing principles and procurement technology.
