This exciting and demanding post will call on and stretch all of your operational management skills as well as offer opportunities to learn new skills. As Operational Manager, you will be responsible for the effective operational management of the specialty. This role is a senior management role with a high profile and requires applicants that have a significant level of leadership knowledge and operational experience including budget management, workforce planning, and business planning and performance management. Provisional interview date of Thursday 17th September ### Main duties of the job - The post holder will support the division in leading and managing the performance of Clinical Genetics in the delivery of planned service capacity through the effective use of resources. - To manage performance against local and national qualitative and quantitative service targets and within the Trust's financial allocations. - To lead and manage the assessment of complex operational issues and challenges.
