We're recruiting for a Operational Lead to lead the Neurodevelopmental Assessment & ADHD Medication Clinic in Bucks CAMHS.

You will manage and develop a reflective dynamic team to deliver neurodevelopmental assessments and support medication for children with and ADHD diagnosis.

Both teams have recently undergone significant redesign which has included a change in processes and recruitment, they have met this challenge with enthusiasm and a focus on quality and commitment to enabling best outcomes for the families in Bucks. The team strive to be neuro-affirming and embrace the role they undertake using a strength based  approach.

You will ensure productivity co exists alongside quality and to continue to support the teams in this goal through effective management.

### Main duties of the job

- To be responsible for the operational management of the service, contributing to planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating the Neurodevelopmental Assessments Team and ADHD medication Team.  To take a lead role in developing teams and services in the relevant pathway and to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- The Operational Team Manager will work alongside the Clinical Team Lead and Service Manager in contributing to overall Directorate strategy/policy to ensure the Directorate delivers its quality, quality improvement, people, finance and performance objectives (in regard to the service they manage).
- The Operational Manager will also work with the Clinical Team Lead, Service Manager, and Senior Lead of Quality and Governance on research development and programmes for their service.

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- Evidence of a wide range of clinical or operational and management experience, in health and/or social care setting
- Evidence of effective line management of a high demand service, demonstrating and ability to prioritise work load and contain completing demands
- Excellent  written and verbal communication.
- Able to organise workload and manage time within conflicting agendas.
- Able to prioritise workload when under pressure.
- Demonstrates excellent and up to date knowledge of national policies relevant to the whole service.
- Demonstrates awareness of the roles of other professionals and agencies.
- Demonstrates awareness of the standards of record keeping and data collection.

**Desirable**

- Understanding either through lived experince or professionally  of neurodiversity through a neuro affirmative approach

### Experience

**Essential**

- Budget management experience
- Experience of managing change
- Experience of working strategically in the on-going development of services
- Experience of planning and managing projects

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- First Line Degree, Nursing, Social Work, OT  MSc / post graduate diploma / long course linked to specialism, or equivalent experience.

**Desirable**

- Evidence of completion of informal/formal management and leadership/supervisory skills training
- Holds a management qualification.
- Clinical supervision course

- Ability to travel between sites and to regional meetings.
- IT literate in Microsoft office
- To be available to take part in duty manager On Call Rota.
