The role of the Operational Flow Manager / Senior Controller pivotal within the organisation for leading on and monitoring of operational issues relating to patient flow throughout the health board. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. ### Main duties of the job - Work collaboratively. with the unscheduled care team to ensure patient flow through the emergency and assessment units, ensuring patient safety is paramount at all times - Monitor and report barriers to discharge, working in collaboration with the Directorate Teams, Clinical Support Services and External Organisations/ Agencies to identify strategies to manage these. - Work collaboratively with partnership organisations and ensure regular, timely and effective communication between services.
