### Job overview

The post holder will be required to work with Senior Management to support the Scheduling service within the Oral & Maxillofacial / ENT departments in providing effective day-to-day operational management and service improvement.

- Supervising the schedulers, ensuring theatre lists are fully utilised and prepared properly.
- Liaise with internal and external colleagues to share patient pathway information and diagnostic information and expedite patient journeys where needed.
- Ensure trust systems are updated with patient pathway status information and that data quality is maintained.
- Attend all Theatre meetings, ensuring all required relevant information/data is prepared and available for the meetings.
- Keep an accurate record of team members’ annual leave, sickness, and other leave requirements

## Person Specification

### Knowledge & Experience

**Essential**

- Experience in an administrative/ scheduling role
- Experience of working in a patient focused or customer service role, preferably within health or social care
- Accurate data entry and keyboard skills, computer literate with proficient use of office software including Microsoft Word and Excel

### Education & qualifications

**Essential**

- - GCSE's grade C and above, including English or Mathematics

**Desirable**

- - Evidence of management of staff in a similar role
