We are seeking an innovative individual, able to work collaboratively with service users and staff, and integrate well into the multidisciplinary team on the ward. Closing Date: 16th November 2025 Shortlisting Date: 19th November 2025 Interview Date: 28th November 2025 ### Main duties of the job - Work independently in specific areas as directed by the senior practitioner once competent. Organise own day to day tasks, exercising judgement and referring to senior staff issues outside own scope of practice. - Undertake specific specialist delegated tasks that are occupational therapy focused and are in line with assessed needs. - Contribute to assessments under supervision and direction of the Senior Practitioner (Occupational Therapist). - Utilise specialist standardised observational tools as appropriate and under supervision. - Plan and implement treatment interventions in partnership with the Senior or Clinical Practitioner, patients and carers in consultation with colleagues. - Monitor and evaluate the outcomes of interventions in partnership with the Senior Practitioner or Clinical Practitioner. - Take account of the particular communication needs of individuals and groups in order to overcome communication barriers. - Provide advice and direction regarding occupational therapy related issues to individuals and groups.
