### The Role

This is a rotational post across NHSL acute and community services. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will manage a defined caseload, using evidence-based practice and person-centred care to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in both hospital and community settings.The post holder is expected to develop relevant clinical skills, knowledge and experience without direct supervision. Duties will vary depending on the specialty.

### In this key role, you will:

- Responsible for Occupational Therapy triage, assessment and rehabilitation for a defined caseload.
- Responsible for personal and professional development in line with local supervision and performance appraisal systems.
- Participate and may lead specific quality improvement projects
- Lead, plan and facilitate safe, timeous patient discharge and make recommendations to ensure needs are met.

### What You'll Bring:

- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registered Occupational Therapist with valid HCPC Registration
- Knowledge of application of the theory underpinning OT practice
- The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative.
- A driving licence is required; this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
