This service supports children and young people by providing advice, guidance, and practical strategies to meet their sensory needs. The role includes delivering both telephone consultations and face-to-face appointments, working collaboratively with families to develop effective sensory strategies and reasonable adjustments. The post holder will carry out assessments and provide tailored advice to support participation and engagement in daily activities across home and school environments. You will be based in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, with the flexibility to work across the area in response to service needs. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills within a growing and innovative service. You will receive structured support, including regular supervision, training, and opportunities to develop competencies in areas such as sensory processing, child development, and sensory-based intervention approaches. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary/multi-agency team. Be a positive role model to all staff. Ensure patient documentation is accurate, maintaining complete and contemporaneous records in line with HCPC/RCOT and Trust standards. To be responsible for own autonomous practice and ensure effective patient/client care is maintained. Attend and engage in Band 5 meetings and engage in CPD opportunities and reflective practice.
