### Job overview

To work as part of an inter-professional team. Independently managing a caseload, which will include routine and complex cases who require rehabilitation. To supervise Band 5; Band 4 and Band 3 staff. To participate in the education of other professionals or other disciplines.

### Main duties of the job

### To provide a holistic assessment to clients with diverse or complex presentations, working within the community as part of an inter-professional team. To provide specific occupational therapy intervention as required. To key work individual cases as appropriate.

### To provide occupational therapy advice to other colleagues within the team. To participate as a member of the team. To manage a clinical caseload. To support service improvement and delivery within the team. To participate in health promotion and education of staff, clients and families.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

### Skills

**Essential**

- Evidence of CPD in previous years
- Knowledge of client centred practice

### Experience

**Essential**

- Broad range of Band 5 rotation experience/or alternative OT equivalent experience
- Experience of training/supervision
- Experience of multi-professional working

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy
- Current Registration with HCPC
- Postgraduate qualification or evidence of relevant post-qualification professional development
