To join the senior nursing team of the Occupational Health service at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust on a full time basis. With applications, now being invited from suitably qualified specialist occupational health nurse practitioners who are confident and effective communicators that have experience of delivering occupational health in a variety of settings; this should include previous NHS experience. You will be part of a large multidisciplinary team and as such good interpersonal skills are necessary. ### Main duties of the job Key Elements of the role; Provision of leadership and line management responsibility to the Occupational health clinical team Provide the full range of Occupational Health Services to trust employees, other NHS organisations and external clients Provide comprehensive advise & reports advising on all aspects of Occupational Health; including sickness absence and case management/return to work advice for employees referred to the service by managers & HR Maintain effective communication with client’s, managers and other professional groups within the organisation and to external clients Support the department with its SEQOHS accreditation Experience of leading on clinical audit Experience of the reviewing and writing of departmental standard operating procedures We are a paper light department so excellent IT skills are a must and you will also need to be comfortable communicating with clients both face to face but also virtually e.g. telephone and emails.
