We are seeking a motivated and experienced Band 6 Occupational Health Nurse Advisor to join our dynamic Occupational Health & Wellbeing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-quality, proactive occupational health service, supporting staff across the Trust and external clients. The role sits within a service that is evolving and transforming to deliver high-impact, preventative interventions aligned to workforce wellbeing priorities.

A core requirement of this role is demonstrable knowledge and experience of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, including assessment, case management, and providing practical workplace advice to support rehabilitation and return to work.

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HTFT would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role

### Main duties of the job

- Deliver a comprehensive Occupational Health service, including management referrals, fitness for work assessments and health surveillance
- Provide specialist advice on a range of conditions, with a significant focus on musculoskeletal (MSK) health, early intervention and prevention
- Manage a caseload autonomously, including rehabilitation and return-to-work planning
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care
- Contribute to service transformation and improvement, supporting delivery of high-impact wellbeing interventions
- Engage with staff and managers to promote health, wellbeing and safe working practice

### Knowledge and Experience

**Essential**

- - Experience of Occupational Health practice, including case management
- demonstrable experience and knowledge of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions and their impact on work, including assessment and workplace advice

### Qualifications, Education and Training

**Essential**

- - Registered Nurse (NMC Part 1)
- - Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (or working towards) or equivalent experience

**Desirable**

- Knowledge and experience of working in NHS occupational health

### Skills, Competencies and Personal Qualities

**Essential**

- - Strong communication and organisational skills
- - Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- - Flexible and adaptable approach to service delivery
