You will be joining a supportive Team working as part of a wider Multidisciplinary service including Consults, Psychologist, dietitians and Youth Workers. If you are interested in making a difference to Children, young people and their families living with Diabetes and possess excellent communication, organisational skills and a flexible approach then we would like to hear from you. ### Main duties of the job The overriding purpose of the role of the Nursing Associate is to support the provision of the highest quality patient/client care through personal actions and continuous improvement. The Nursing Associate has a breadth of knowledge and skills, providing holistic and person-centred care and support for people of all ages in a variety of settings. As directed by the Children and Young Person's Diabetes Specialist Nurse, within a primary care setting with Children, Young People and families with a diagnosis of Diabetes. This includes taking a full range of routine care and treatment tasks, as directed by a registered nurse. This will include observations and reporting on patients' conditions. The Nursing Associate will work under the supervision from a registered nurse or other registered professional to provide high quality care and treatment as a member of the multidisciplinary team informed by excellent communication, analysis of information, planning and organisational skills. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Work under the supervision of a registered nurse or other registered care professional as appropriate.
