Norbiton Station is at the end of the road & there are numerous buses that stop on the hospital site or at the end of the road. ### Main duties of the job ### We currently have 1, part time level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner roles advertised. This is a great opportunity to join and work alongside the Honey Bees team, where you will support Practitioners with the care and education of our children and with any other experiences they may need support with, such as trips and outings. Working alongside our  current experienced floats,  you will work in a variety of rooms across all ages, covering team members if they are on annual leave or when they have paperwork to do. Although you won't have keychildren assigned to you, you will expected to plan activities that excite and stimulate the children, in line with Birth to Matters guidance. All Practitioners are expected to - - Maintain a high standard of care for every child. - To be aware of all needs of the children who attend the nursery and encourage their development in every area. - To be aware of local and government safeguarding legislation and be aware of how to escalate any concerns as necessary. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Our fantastic Staff Day Nursery is based in the grounds of Kingston Hospital and provides day care for children, aged 3 months to 4 years, whose parents/carers are employed by Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Signs to be aware of in relation to safeguarding children, who and how these need to be to escalated or reported to. **Desirable** - Knowledge of the safer sleeping guidance and how this impacts on a setting. ### Experience **Essential** - Minimum 1 years recent experience of working with children between the ages of 3 months to 5 years.(within the past 9 months). For newly qualified staff this can include placements ### Qualifications **Essential** - Minimum level 3 qualification in child care and education.
