North Cumbria Home Oxygen Service is looking for a highly motivated and organised administrator to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral part in the running of the home oxygen service across North Cumbria.

The administrator role is fundamental to supporting our clinical team. The role is suited to someone who can offer impeccable written and verbal communication skills. Who is dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate about contributing to our highly patient focused oxygen service.

### Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for providing effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to the North Cumbria Oxygen service (NCHOS). The role will involve the coordination and implementation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of NCIC trust administrative systems.

The post holder will often be the first point of contact and a focal point for the service requiring clear communication and liaison skills.

The operational hours for the service are Monday- Friday 08:30-16:30. The service does not operate over weekends or bank holidays.

### Qualifications

- GCSE maths and English

- Experience managing challenging behaviour.
- Experience of providing specialist clerical services to a community based home Oxygen service
- Ability to interpret oxygen concordance data.

- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Advanced keyboard skills.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload with interruptions and changing priorities.
- Good numerical skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload.
- Knowledge of a full range of administration procedures and their application to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Working knowledge of NHS procedures and guidelines.
- Be able to organise internal and external and remote meetings, room bookings and minute taking.
- Good command and understanding of English, punctuation and grammar

**Desirable**

- Understanding of the Data Protection Act.
- Knowledge of Information Governance with regard to maintaining confidentiality of person identifiable information
- Knowledge and understanding of guidelines relating to Oxygen service provision.
- Knowledge of regional groups relating to Home Oxygen provision
