We have an exciting opportunity for two Non-Medical Endoscopists to join our expanding Endoscopy service at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital. The posts are 36 hours and 18 hours.

You will provide advanced clinical practice whilst demonstrating high levels of decision making and clinical judgement.

You should have experience in endoscopy with advanced clinical skills in either upper or lower gastrointestinal endoscopy. You should be able to work independently and manage your own case load. Ideally you should be an independent prescriber, but this is not essential. There is an expectation that additional study might be required in the future, including completion of second modality training.

You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to safe, effective patient-centred care, through auditing and developing own practice. A commitment to quality, evidence-based care is essential.

You will be integral in the delivery of the strategic vision and plan for the hospital. We have a new endoscopy department (opened 2024), with 5 procedure rooms. As we continue with this major expansion of our services, this is your chance to become part of a progressive, dynamic and person centred team, within a world renowned healthcare organisation.

NHS Golden Jubilee is open to considering flexible working options for this role.

This vacancy may close early if a high volume of applications is received so please apply early to avoid disappointment.

As a disability confident leader we are committed to ensuring our recruitment processes are inclusive and accessible to all. If you have a disability or long-term health condition covered by the Equality Act 2010 and need support for any stage of the recruitment process please refer to the job pack for more information.
