Please see job description for further details ### Main duties of the job ### Band 6 ### Neonatal Nursing Team ### Full-Time: 37.5 Hours per week We are looking for Band 6 Neonatal nurses to come and join our team of experienced and friendly Neonatal Nurses who provide specialist care to Neonates from 27 weeks gestation. We would like to recruit enthusiastic and resourceful Neonatal Nurses to provide high quality care to our sick Neonates. To succeed you must have the relevant neonatal qualifications and experience in working on a Neonatal Unit. We are a level 2 unit within the North Central North East London Perinatal Network. We provide specialist care to neonates from 27 weeks gestation. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities The unit have a family-focused philosophy in which staff and parents work together in partnership to provide the highest standards of care and we actively support developmental care. We look forward to gaining team members who will embrace our innovative nursing styles including developmental care, breastfeeding support and discharge planning. There are opportunities to develop clinical skills in a highly supportive environment, with a Practice Educator and Advanced Nurse Practitioner in post. There is also the opportunity to rotate in to the community working with the community neonatal sister. We are a friendly, caring and supportive unit and we will support your professional development both in practice and accessing relevant specialist courses.
