Aspire Doncaster Drug and Alcohol Services provide community and inpatient services. We are looking for a Trust Grade Doctor  wanting to develop a wide range of skills and experience within   Addiction Psychiatry. This post is a  rare opportunity to work within an inpatient setting. This full-time post includes 2 sessions of Supporting Programmed Activities (SPAs), enabling the post holder to pursue CPD, service development, management, teaching, or research interests. The post holder is supported by a full time Addiction Psychiatrist. ### Main duties of the job - We are looking for a doctor  who demonstrates the following skills. The ability to complete comprehensive medical assessments including physical examination. Prescribe a variety of medications related to physical or mental health conditions, the detoxification and for any medical emergencies that arise. Formulate and review detoxification plans according to the patient’s progress. Be able to respond to manage medical and mental health emergencies related to the detoxification or existing health problems. Input into twice daily MDT meetings.
