We are recruiting a Fixed Term Children and Young People’s Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team within the NHS. This new exciting role working within our established autism service and our new developing neurodevelopmental pathway and service. This offers the opportunity to work with children, young people and families to assess, support, and guide development in a range of neurodevelopmental conditions including autism spectrum disorders and ADHD. We are looking for anyone with relevant professional registration in either: Nursing, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology You will have experience working with children with neurodevelopmental conditions. Possess strong communication skills with children, families, and professionals You will work independently within an established multi-disciplinary team working alongside a Consultant Psychiatrist, Psychologists, Nurses and AHP professionals. You will have access to ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Supporting our staff is very important to us and we offer staff supervision both clinically and managerially on a regular basis, promoting staff wellbeing Flexible working arrangements can be considered ### Main duties of the job - Conduct neurodevelopmental assessments and observations in clinical settings or community environments - Collaborate with paediatricians, psychologists, therapists, and educators to create holistic care plans - Support families by providing information, advice, and interventions tailored to individual needs - Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions - Contribute to multidisciplinary autism assessments - Maintain accurate records and contribute to service audits and quality improvement initiatives - Stay current with evidence-based practices and contribute to training and professional development ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Please see the attached Job Description for further information, if you require any further information regarding this vacancy, please contact us on 0300 303 0691.
