You will carry out and/or oversee the repair/maintenance/installation of complex plant and equipment across all Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (HIOWH) properties. This will involve a multi-skilled approach as well as the full range of duties associated with the postholders primary trade as a Plumber or Mechanical Engineer. This will include planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair works across varying systems, potentially acting as an Authorised Person (AP) in one of either Water, Medical Gasses, Mechanical Pressure System, HVAC or Decontamination. This will include the issuing of permits to work, carrying out system shutdowns in a compliant and recorded manner to assist with Maintenance works or larger Capital Project works. ### Main duties of the job Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and associated work is implemented efficiently to specified requirements and aid with improving these requirements on a continuous basis. To undertake the servicing of plumbing and mechanical plant as per the PPM schedule and works issued by your Estates Officer.
