The MASH process involves searching for and collating health information from a range of NHS providers with due regard to patient confidentiality, the MASH professional needs to interpret and share what is necessary to safeguard and promote the welfare of a child.

This model of multi-agency cooperation is a statutory duty for all professionals delivering care to children and families.

There are two 22.5-hour posts with the possibility to work the hours flexibly, there is opportunity to work both within the Local authority and some home working.
