The team form part of a larger MSK service which takes pride in delivering high quality care and rehabilitation to the residents of Southampton, Portsmouth, IOW and Hampshire. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills. This role is based in Southampton where clinics run across a variety of locations within the city, including the Adelaide Health Centre, Bitterne Health Centre and the Stoneham Centre (Moorgreen Hospital). You will be working with a diverse population and exposed to a wide variety of MSK conditions within your caseload. The MSK team is committed to continued professional development & promote evidence-based practise to ensure a high standard of care throughout the service. As a valued team member, you will have opportunities to develop your four pillars of practice, working alongside specialists and exercise rehab instructors and benefitting from an extensive professional development programme including regular clinical supervision and band 5 training sessions, CPD funding through our ACE academy, & support towards progressing in your career. ### Main duties of the job 1.Undertakes a musculoskeletal assessment of patients and from this formulates a diagnosis and treatment plan which is carried out as an autonomous practitioner. 2.Develop a role in the supervision, teaching and appraisal of rehabilitation assistants, students and other members of the multi disciplinary team as required. 3.Participates in evidence based projects, assists in implementing changes within designated team/area and setting and monitoring standards of practice. 4.There may be a requirement to work in other areas of the trust if the service requires it. ### About us Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides joined-up mental and physical healthcare for around two million people across our communities.
