We are seeking compassionate, motivated Band 6 Midwives to join our award-winning maternity service at The Rosie Hospital. Working within one of the UK's leading maternity and tertiary referral centres, you will provide safe, personalised and evidence-based care to women, birthing people and their families across pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Fixed Term and Permanent contracts are available. ### Main duties of the job As a Band 6 Midwife, you will work as an autonomous practitioner providing high-quality care throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period. You will coordinate care, recognise and escalate maternal and neonatal deterioration, support informed decision-making and deliver personalised, trauma-informed care. The role includes providing day-to-day clinical leadership, acting as a role model for junior staff and students, supporting multidisciplinary working and contributing to workforce development. You will be expected to participate in maternity safety initiatives, audit, quality improvement and service development activities whilst maintaining excellent clinical documentation and professional standards.
