In addition you will responsible for the provision of a full range of health, education and social care advice to women within an integrated model of care covering pre-conception, antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal periods. ### Main duties of the job Passionate about midwifery? Due to exciting development within the maternity service, we are looking for a motivated midwife to join our midwifery team in Ystradgynlais. You will be joining a service with one of the highest home birth rates in Wales, a high physiological birth rate and the highest breastfeeding rate in Wales.  You will be supporting women choosing to birth at one of our 6 free standing birth centres. You will provide and coordinate antenatal and postnatal care for both midwife led care and consultant led women. As a service, we are passionate about supporting midwives ongoing professional development and the opportunity to access an award winning training during your employment.
