We currently have an opportunity for an experienced midwife to join our existing Maternity Assessment Suite team. Please note: Appropriate UK NMC Registration is a requirement for this role and international candidates who only holds PRN  need not to apply. ### Main duties of the job You will work collaboratively with the Maternity Assessment Suite midwives and wider multidisciplinary team to provide efficient and safe care to women and families using the triage service. Women can access the service from sixteen weeks gestation up until four weeks following birth.  Around 1000 women attend each month with a variety of health concerns relating to themselves or their unborn baby. Maternity Assessment Suite is a fast paced, acute environment requiring autonomous practice and effective team working.  It requires prompt decision making skills and appropriate and timely escalation when necessary to ensure safe care provision. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities The Maternity Assessment Suite is a growing service provided for women and families throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period.
