This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse with relevant oncology experience to develop their clinical expertise, leadership skills and make a real impact on patients living with a complex diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer and provide support to patients and their carers/families from diagnosis, throughout treatment and ongoing supportive care. As a clinical nurse specialist (CNS), you will act as a key member of the multidisciplinary team, providing expert clinical advice, care coordiantion and psychological support to patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. This advert is for a full-time permanent position. The post is suitable for either: - An experienced Band 6 nurse wishing to develop into a CNS role or - An established Band 7 CNS looking to further their specialist practice You will work closely with oncology consultants, CNS’s, advanced nurse practitioners, pharmacy and other health care professionals to deliver safe, compassionate and evidence-based care. This role is based in Poole Hospital but will involve times of cross site working. This role is Band 6 or Band 7 depending on experience This role required NMC Registration.
