Priory Hospital Ayr Clinic/ Low Secure Forensic WardSalary is £36,176 - £41,953 per annum plus £5,000 welcome bonusRelocation support (including payment for accommodation or moving costs) up to £3,000(Terms apply)Full Time - 37.5 HoursThis role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.Priory Hospital Ayr Clinic has an opportunity for a Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse to join our team. Ayr Clinic, Ayr, is a low secure mental health service for males and females with a mental health diagnosis and/or personality disorder. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

### What you'll be doing

- 8am- 8.15pm Days /8pm- 8.15am Nights
- Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Week 2 Wednesday and Thursday

## Person Specification

### What you'll bring to the role

**Essential**

- Qualified Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse with active NMC registration.
- Minimum of 12 months post-registration experience working within a mental health care environment and completion of preceptorship programme.
- Good understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements and professional standards.
- Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to change, improvement and delivering high-quality care.
- Ability to work flexibly and use innovative approaches to care.
