A exciting opportunity has arisen within the Melanoma and Non-Melanoma CNS team for a registered Nurse to join our friendly team. You will be helping to manage a caseload of Melanoma and Non-Melanoma patients who are either on System Anti Cancer Therapies (SACT) or on surveillance. You will assist the band 7 nurses and medical staff in running a nurse-led Immunotherapy toxicity clinic, utilising your clinical knowledge and decision making skills. There will be opportunities for project work alongside this including education opportunities, conferences and audits.

The post holder will be required to work Thursdays and Fridays 9-5.

### Main duties of the job

The post holder will attend Non-Melanoma clinics and assist in managing the caseload. We work closely with our medical colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team so communication and team work is vital.

The post holder will assist in the running of a nurse-led Immunotherapy toxicity clinic. You will be required to triage and assess patients, liaising with colleagues, making decisions on their care and escalating if needed, acting as their advocate. Willingness to learn is essential.

Liaising with the multidisciplinary team, recognising limitations and acting as a advocate for the patient. Using clinical knowledge and judgement during triaging and assessing patients, being confident with decision making and confidently escalating when required. Communicating with patients, relatives and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure clear plans, being flexible and inclusive. Maintaining spreadsheets for communication and data gathering to support the expanding service. Being a passionate role model within the team, adhering to the trust values, championing research, education and learning. We encourage innovation and ideas  to improve the service.

- Willingness to work towards masters level academic study
